DNF at 21%. Maybe I will pick it up later but giving up for now. I have many other books in my "Want to Read" bookshelf that I prefer to read right now.

I am enjoying my second read much more than the first one. Sometimes it's not the book, but the reader.

Holding a degree in Mathematics, I still struggle to grasp the arguments presented in this book, which I presume would be almost unintelligible to the average reader.

Fascinating, but not an easy read. There's a lot of higher math involved. Definitely not a book for the layman.

Putting this on hold for a while. It's a very long book, and I want to finish other shorter books first.

About halfway through this short (audio)book. It's very engaging and well written, the prose is very clean. It's also one of those books that make you think.

It's slow going with this one. The history is good, but parts of it are just to dry to keep my interest for long.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. Not my usual fare, but it looks intriguing.

Interesting read so far. I have read other books about this period, but I am finding quite a lot of new bits of information here.

Mario García is finished with Sailing to Sarantium (The Sarantine Mosaic, #1)
Just finished it. I have some mixed feelings on this one. Parts of it were very slow, and some if the interactions between the protagonist and Sarantian nobility are not believable based on who he is. He is just supposed to be an artisan but us given much more importance than I would expect. I will post a full review soon.

Mario García is 64% done with The Godborn (The Sundering, #2)
The story is very dark, and the author is doing a great job in conveying how dire the situation in Sembia is. The writing is very good, just like previous book from Paul S. Kemp, but some of the plot lines seem too far apart, disconnected. I just finished a very long chapter centered on Vasen as he escorts some pilgrims. It was a great chapter, full of suspense, but almost made me forget about Magdon and Riven.

Mario García is 50% done with Ringworld (Ringworld #1)
The concept of the Ringworld itself is really cool, but the rest of the story is not that good. I will finish it, but I am not enjoying it very much. The characters are simply not believable. They are like walking cliches, cardboard stereotypes.

Starting a little slow. All the politics in Washington and Moscow is dated knowing that the Soviet Union collapsed in the 80s.

Getting started on this. After the glowing reviews I couldn't miss it, even though I wasn't impressed by the second book.
