At almost halfway through, I like the story; however, there are a few things that bother me. There is a lot of redundancy. We are told over and over about certain things. The last part I just read, right before writing this, tells of the royal lineage, which was already explained throughout the beginning of the story. We all should know what an aunt and a grandmother are. All of this drags the pacing way down.

I just couldn't finish it. I got to about 18.5% and had to read something else. I think maybe the writing style was not what I like. I got tired of Miss this and Lord that and all of the "old style" talk. I think it's fine to have it in the characters speech, but it is not my cup of tea for the entire book. Maybe I'll try this again later.

Yes, the recovery team is on its way. She should be back at Boeing Field late tonight.

For some reason I'm having a hard time getting in to this book. It might be the dominant/submissive thing. I'm not in to that. I like the caring/equal romance, not the overbearing/meek romance. Not going to give up on it, though.

The only thing I can see wrong with the book so far is the big words she throws out every now and again.

So young - and attractive, very attractive. He's tall, dressed in a fine gray suit, white shirt, and black tie with unruly dark copper-colored hair and intense, bright gray eyes that regard me shrewdly.
