Finished reading it... some decent action in the last 40%, then a super wimpy, lazy ending. *sigh* Felt more like a "I need the money" book than one from the heart and mind.

First, I just want to say I LOVED all the other MurderBot stories. I read all of them twice, back-to-back, then read them in Japanese, then again in English. So I have read all the other books about five times in total.

And yet, I'm not enjoying this one. The writing feels clunky and stuttered. The story feels slow, the descriptions too messy, and MB seems to swear a LOT more than before. Not enjoying this one yet.

I have to read VERY slow to make sure I understand everything, but I'm glad for this book. I like seeing the actual formulas being presented, even if they are tough.

Slow reading. I'm not used to reading books like this anymore, so I majorly have to slow down and focus, and reread a bunch of times!

Nice little "dance" through some of Feynman's various lectures and talks and adventures. More of a collection of adventures than "science" thus far. Still, very enjoyable.

EXTREMELY difficult as I have not learned the necessary math or science. However, it is describing the same examples as the previous book I read (QED), so I at least know what he's talking about. *laugh*

Feynman is a master at explaining! Night and day from the last book I was reading...

Not s as well written as his other book(s). I find it hard to focus on what he's saying as it's not as clear and precise as it could be.

Very confusing and rambling to start with...

Could be me, but considering I just finished about book by the same author, it's possible it's just him for some reason.

Restarting this book for a thorough read. Last time I read it was back in high school, c. 1992.

Very well written, and just at my current pace -- slow! If I had kept up my science brain, it might feel a bit slow, but it's been too long since I did science, so this feels just right.

That's a hard balance to find -- slow enough for us science-slow people, yet fast enough to remain interesting!
