So the audiobook narrator is now Lorelei King, so everyone sounds like Stephanie Plum and Morelli. Plus I'm just 1 disc end, and Kay has described in detail the meal she prepared, and how she prepared it and what she did with it when she put it back in the fridge to save for later. I think I also realized the way Kay feels about Marino is the way I feel about her, so we are even.

This book is currently suffering from- "not what I thought it was going to be/not in the right mood for it" I am on a Christmas story type of binge and I thought this would be more "christmasy" and right now I'm reading about a 4th of July BBQ. It's not a bad book, it just doesn't have that warm fuzzie Christmas feel I was chasing.

I'm really bored with this book and i don't know why. I loved the series that spawned this booka nd I liked the first book in this series, but man oh man. This is like reading a book about couples therapy!

Just finished chapter 44 and I now know I need to immediately go back to the beginning and re read up until this point as soon as I finish.

This book is not drawing my attention! I have been reading it for weeks now and I feel no urgency to get back to it.

I admit I'm not yet reading of the currently reading books, I will be soon, but I'm using this as my don't forget I want to read this holder because I'm tired of going through my tbr list. I figure if I have 10 books here it will make things easier.

So I've read 10 chapters today in the book about Qhuinn and Blay. So only 1 section of 1 chapter was almost solely about their relationship. 8 sections however were about Assail and Sola. So I ask, why are Qhuinn and Blay filler in their own book?

All this is to say that if I were to never pick up this book again and finish it, I would be ok with that. And for a series I once loved. And characters I once loved. And a book about two characters whose story I have waited so long for, that is completely devastating

jeez if these two would just talk once in a while instead of trying to out snark each other like Bravo Housewives of Caldwell, they might actually get somewhere!!

Oh my god! This book is never going to end!

Storywise- it feels like we should be sliding into the ending. I mean really. I could wrap this puppy up in another 40 pages... however I'm apparently not even halfway through....

Finally time to start this book...

FML. Gross, just gross.

I'm on disc 12 of 14 and we are finally getting to the plot advertised in the blurb. Although still no FBI. I hope they send Jules.

I'm well over halfway through and we still haven't gotten to the plot written about in the blurb and I'm losing interest. Quickly.

I can't believe I'm only halfway through! If this book wasn't part of a series I was mostly enjoying, I'd stop reading it.

Who are these people?

I see where this is all heading, and I don't know if I like it....

Just started and I can already tell 2 things. I don't like this narrator. She mispronouncing, or at least pronouncing differently than previous narrators one of the main character's of the story.

I really don't know how they next 130 pages are going to be interesting, and I really need to start reading the blurbs because I was liking the m/m story not really wanting m/m/m. Sigh...

My brother in NYPD and was there 9/11 (he's ok) but so far I had to put this book down because the description of the day is so vivid, especially if you were around it at all, I needed to clear the memories it bombarded me with. Well written so far and I'm only on the 2nd chapter.

It's weird that this book is suddenly 3rd person pov after a whole book in first person....

159. This is not the book I thought I'd be reading. I'm not saying I don't like it, just that I'm a little over halfway through and I'm not sure what I'm reading about yet, real or fiction?

I'm getting really... bored. I mean these books seem to go on with no real point. This one seems to be all about characters being in mortal danger. and how Claire preforms miraculous medical interventions to save them... snore...

I would like to be finished with this book now.

Roger & Jamie , Ian & Fergus are the only characters I really love, so I wish she'd stop almost killing them, and maybe put Claire or Bree in more mortal danger.
