Part IV is so boring so far and also 2x as long as the other parts. I liked the book way more before it started focusing on LHO

loving it so far, but the part that takes place in 1958 says there are 49 US states because Hawaii wouldn’t be a state for another til ‘59. But neither would Alaska! How am I supposed to suspend my disbelief for the next 760+ pages if the one thing I actually know about American history isn’t even accurate.

If you’re a teacher who is thinking about using this book as a main source of text for your students, please reconsider.

Honestly still very much into this book. It holds up in many ways (just finished up one of my favorite and most heartbreaking plot points). RealiZing now how much I love books that span generations. I have an itching desire to reread Pachinko after this
