Larry is starting The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye (Millennium, #5)
I've enjoyed the Millennium series and David Lagercrantz contribution to the series. I am really looking forward to this book.

I have to put this book down for a while. I don't like romance books. Period. I like Ilona Andrews and Ann Charles because Ilona writes some mean battles and Ann writes light, funny and murder mysteries. I can handle the LGBT. I would be a fool to believe things that are described in the book never happened in the time frame of the book. I will continue because Achilles is getting ready to march into war.

As a rule, the grammar was leaky and the construction more or less lame; but I did not much mind these things. They are common defects of my own, and one mustn’t criticise other people on grounds where he can’t stand perpendicular himself.

The book is typical Micael Bennett book, OK. Just OK. I'm also doing the audiobook. The Narrator does accents. Brooklyn and New York are good enough. His French Canadian, Colombian and Mexican same the same and sorta hurts the book. I can't remember if he got his Irish accent correct. Oh well, as far as enjoying a good storytelling, maybe the next book. I wish Michael Ledwidge was co-writer.

Very good. One of the best Carter Blake books.

I guess I'm a little slow. Koontz didn't really spell out what Jane knew and it to me about halfway into it to start enjoying the book, and at sometimes thinking about the top books on my to-read list that I skipped over just for a change of pace.

Kinda good . . . I'm just reading it to keep the series complete. Right now the chapters are just ping ponging between Heat and Storm.

I have to say that so far this is one of the best James Patterson books I've read. If you think you are going to be reading a book about political partisanship you will be wrong. Yes, there is some party bickering but the book is really a good read as another "let's stop the world from ending" book.

The book started out great, and it's still good. The only way I can describe it is a fantasy book on acid.
