2nd chapter discussing what makes a great butler- answer “dignity” - is it earned, is it innate, was important to lay out the world and Stevens but a bit boring. After that, it’s been great. Love the comedy of Stevens being a witness to Nazi sympathizer meetings and not understanding what’s going on, and simultaneously being asked to explain the facts of life to a lord’s son
