“Small might mean insignificant, but it does not mean unimportant” ….

Insignificant is defined as unimportant! I can’t with this lady. I’m only a quarter through the book, at what point does she pull her head out of her own @ss?

A fun contemporization (is that a word?) of Little Women. I like how the story was modernized, but still stays very true to the original.

The difficulty with audiobooks is that I can’t just pick it up and finish when it gets to the juicy reveal. This is the point in the book with a really big reveal! I’ll have to wait until tomorrow’s commute.

Nari is starting In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto
This book is now 10 years old. I wonder what an updated version would say about modern food culture?

This book is such a let down so far. I think it would have served its purpose better as one of the author's Washington Post articles rather than an entire book. I'm halfway through and there is no mention of barriers to literacy and reading. Her studies are dubiously cited and she doesn't provide much analysis. I have no idea where my copy of this book is right now, so it might just end up on my Did-Not-Finish shelf.
