I try to enjoy what I read. I rarely fail doing it, usually the key is to change my expectations or in rare cases to change my self.
This is one of those cases, to enjoy this book I have to let it take possession of my brain. I tried trying to “make sense” and “extract value” out of this read but it was a counterproductive effort.
To enjoy agua viva you have to let go and flow with it.

Guillermo is starting Metaphors We Live By
Few books make you question what is truth while providing a compelling new answer. This one does by explaining how metaphors shape how we think about the reality and what we say about it is true only in a shared metaphorical context.
In the western world the front of a rock is the side facing us, on other cultures it is the opposite side that's the front. ¿What is facing the rock? you or the mountain both are true.

Funniest book i have ever read.
The bot takes human things and makes fun of them in the most random writing.

With a looming ecological disaster hovering our heads looking back to an idilic pre-civilization past is tempting.
This books brings argumenta against the never ending progress justification of our civilization and explore the question did they have it better back then? Was agriculture ‘the original sin’ that got us out of the eden?

In this book cool stuff happens like a war in heaven and jesus comes in a war chariot to kick some lucifer’s rebels ass. Then Raphael the Angel tells Adam all the juicy details of creation and then god speaks and says pretty wise stuff like: knowledge is bad for you Adam, just chill and enjoy eden.
And that’s where I’m at
