I’m flying through this but it’s making me very uncomfortable.

Putting this down at 62% there’s only so many hundred pages I can read about torture.

This is so tedious. I’m racing through hoping something happens so I can understand why so many people love this, but it’s so repetitive - and (I’m reading it on Kindle so I just realized) it’s over 600 pages of this? I’m not sure I’m going to make it.

I love this series so much. I’m taking this one slow and saving it for nighttime so I don’t rush through it.

Almost done. Have gotten to the best parts now and still adore the love story. Still wish there was more love story and less spice… I know I know, I’m the outlier here.

LONG break from this one. I’ve loved it so far but it’s sad and also very repetitive since it’s her journals from just a short period of life, talking about one specific thing.

Taking another break from this. I love the love story, and the fact that the relationship is getting more “real,” but I’m now starting to fast forward through some of the sex scenes because there are just so many.

“I say that I would eat his skin off his face if he came near us again.” (Pg 13) - Best line ever 😂

I love this love story and the sex is HOT, but there is SO much sex. Open door sex scenes for a good 50% (at least) of the pages has to be your thing to keep with this. I’m taking a little break. I want to see how Shane and Ilya’s HEA shapes up but I need a sex break 😂

Questions are starting to be answered. It feels like we know all of the answers now, but seeing the high ratings of the book - I’m guessing there will be more twists, so that’s what I’m waiting for now.

At this point, with everything I know about Joan already and now reading this - she left this to be seen on purpose. I feel like it’s the confession she couldn’t bear to publish while alive.

Loving this. It's a little scary, which I didn't know about, so I can't read it last thing before bed.

Am thinking about starting Me Before You. Thoughts?
