listening to the BBC audio drama of this because no audiobook in the kindle store, only this.
on one hand, BBC audio dramas have the absolute best production value, but the heavy british accents are really throwing me here where it's a russian story during WWII. i feel like they could've gone the extra mile and used actors with Russian accents

Really well written! not my usual fare, but the first chapter about local theater hooked me, and the clever writing/voice of the narrator is keeping me going.

Really struggling here, but determined to finish it.
