Not only boring repetitions of overly emotional inner monologues, but now it gets into unrealistic: all of them have money coming out of their ears, and can invest 100 million!!! just like that.

Sorry but so boring, trying to get through this.

Juvenile female protagonist for whom everyone over 30 is "much older", over 60 years she's suprised they have fun at parties, she finds lots of excuses for reading someone else's diara, she keeps stringing along a boy who obviously would do anything for her instead of just saying "thank you but no". Both protagonist and author in my opinion have a lot of moral and mental growing up to do.

Good grief - female hormonal teenage drama queen of 3o+ years who blames her ex for breaking her heart, having an affair 3 years after that and having unprotected sex ending in pregnancy, and then a failed relationship - all the ex's fault because he left her 17 years ago.
And Tom - half a kid then, traumatized (my gosh aren't we all), then building a business and now not having the smarts to check on details

Horrible. Is this for children? Even then, the narration style would be way too exaggerated, too forced funny, just too much. If the narration were a person, I'd prescribe valium!

This is just too silly. Have I bought a childrens' book by mistake?

2 chapters in, and I wonder if authors think having a vast vocabulary makes them capable of writing a funny book. So far, I detest the style and the protagonists who seem to be teenagers trying to avoid using their brains.

I don't think I like this. At least I cannot stand the female protagonist ("the smell of old people" in a car - really? - I do hope it's not the author's opinion).

A bit slow-ish

"I am going to write in a funny way and you like it even if you don't" meets "I can't decide whether to write the actual story or the background leading up to it"
Wannabe funny mixed with jumping between to parts of the story is not a good recipe for me.
