Miranda is ...
1) concerned about her past, about people finding out and for the past to repeat it self
2) obsessed with people liking he

This I know because after the first 30% of the book it's been stated like ... 90 times? If not more. It's so ridiculously repetitive and overly explanatory that it seems like half the book is basically just repeating these two things

Half way through and it's just going down hill. Very bland characters, a storyline that's been done way too many times before and with nothing different to it that makes it stand out. The writing itself is ok, but doesn't stand out in any way. It's also quite repetitive and gives a lot of unnecessary explanations.

Er fryktelig nysgjerrig på hvorfor Grys del av fortellingen er i nåtid, mens Vigdis kapitler skrives i fortid. Handlingen utspiller seg jo samme sted og samme tid, så synes det virker ganske merkelig

Struggling a bit to get into this but it's slowly growing on me, just as her The Dutch House did, so I hope this will develop the same way and I'll keep enjoying it more and more

Audiobook:
Almost DNF at 30% but sticking with it a bit longer simply because I want something "easy" to listen to that doesn't need much concentrating and because I'm a personal trainer myself so the whole fitness industrial is fun and not a very frequent occurance in fiction.

However... The repetition and over explaining of EVERYTHING is driving me nuts

I enjoyed this from the start, but I like it even more now and it just keeps getting better. I was a bit sceptical to the dual storyline - switching between the 622-case and the life and going ons in the author's life - but it's growing on me and I like it! This is a juicy and intense who-done-it, but it's also a "how they do it" and "why?!" and throw it n a love-triangle situation as well and press play and wham!

This is the sort of book that just sucks you in and keeps you absolutely absorbed without being of "very high litterary quality" and without trying to be. It's a gossipy, dramatical social media-inspired thriller about a missing influencer. Multiple narrators and so easy to get into

So addictive!
Finally a psychological thriller with something original and not filles with overly used content and plot, and over the top twists

Denne synes jeg er skikkelig brysom å lese. Det brukes så mange unødvendige beskrivende ord som ikke egentlig tilfører noe av verdi, men tvert om ødelegger for flyten når jeg leser. (..."hennes askeblonde hår")
