Okay I’m old, I’m set in my ways but I hate the new layout.
I want the old one back….I’m going to sulk now…

Generally I read 200-300 books a year and yet again I haven’t read a single one from the Goodreads Choice Awards.

Is it me that’s picking the wrong books? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Cringy is not a quality I look for in a book. So now do I continue on and see if the reviews can be believed or quit?

Not book related just an update.
Sorry I’m not on GR very much these days. I’ve finished treatment but the chemo has left me with terrible eyesight atm. I’m hoping this is temporary (can take up to 12 months). I’m reading thanks to my kindle but not for too long since eyestrain is an issue. Unfortunately anything involving my iPad is more difficult.
Hopefully I’ll be back on soon, happy reading xx

I’m looking for a series to get lost in. I find myself with almost unlimited reading time (long story short between my chemo and the worry of covid I’m spending way too much time inside) but I’m struggling to find anything. Single books aren’t cutting it. I need the pull of a series. Something not too heavy.

I can’t lose my love of reading too.

Update to my breast cancer post.

Ladies please be vigilant and check. If you find a lump act quickly. I had a clear mammogram just 9 months earlier. My lump seemed to appear almost overnight. It was 2.5 cm on my first visit. Two weeks later and it’s 3.2cm. I have a mastectomy on Wednesday.

Please, please check and if you find anything contact your doctor immediately.

I’m having more issues with Goodreads.
While I can read reviews I can’t like or comment on them. I thought it might be my iPad so I switched to my phone which worked for a short while. But now it’s the same.

It needs editing and the heroine has just had a complete personality change. We’re talking completely different person here. Now it’s a long book well over 600 pages. So maybe it’s aliens?
