This is not a spoiler. Please tell me I’m not the only one who found it wholly unnecessary and grotesque to listen to a meticulously detailed 30 minute chapter on the Atlantic journey of a flea? I mean, I know this is about the plague, but I nearly lost my lunch.

I was so into the plot and then it completely shifted in time and character focus without any warning. Arg! I hate when that happens.
