I haven’t read this in 30 years and was worried about whether I would still think it’s 5 stars. So far so good.

Current audio book. This is pretty compelling so far. Debating if I should just do a puzzle today and listen to the rest.

Now I’m getting Shirley Jackson vibes.

I’ve only just started but this feels very different from The Mother-in-law, which is the only other Sally Hepworth I’ve read. This feels like if Kate Morton and Alan Bradley (Flavia de Luce) books had a baby.
