Still reading.

This was a very good book until the end. Now it just leaves a disappointing unpleasantness. It could have been a very good book. Why do authors do this?

Good book so far; putting reading on hold at this moment.

There were some interesting facts and opinions in this book comparing Chinese, Asian - American, and American styles of parenting regarding education and child - rearing. Much of it could have been said in a book half the length. I'm not sure if it was useful, but it was interesting from a cultural and sociological perspective.
