I'm barely into the book and I'm already disgusted and saddened by what Virginia Giuffre had to endure as a young girl. No one protected her, that is the sad reality. I didn't really want to read this book but then again I wanted to honour this woman's legacy. The story flows well and is a surprisingly readable book given the very sad subject matter.

This book is off to a good start with kids arriving for summer camp and then fast forwarded to 3 young ladies who met at camp and are still friends.
