Oh, and by the way... What's with this weird Throe thing. Is he a wizard now?

PS. Also, somebody needs to explain to me why JM is NOWHERE in Q & Blay's story line. Those two were all over JM's story and now that the shit is hitting the proverbial fan he's NOWHERE to be found! I mean, no FN where. And yes, why didn't Blay just call JM instead of Q. It would have made all kinds of scenes in the world that he would at this point and time in the story.

Don't like this dumb ass idea Q & Tohr have by going rogue and attempting to kill Xcor anyway.
I understand Q is pissed and has every reason to be, but his beef is definitely with Layla. You know, the mahmen who met with the enemy while carrying your young?
I don't understand Thor's persistence with this. If Wrath, the King, his FN boss, the victim of the attempt, says drop it then he should bloody well drop it.

WTF is V all melancholy about!? I don't get it! He had his second book within the pages of his sister's book. Everything good with Butch, check. Everything good with Jane, check. Everything good with Brother's, simi- check. Bank of computers in cook working order, double check. But he's trying to get himself drunk to numb himself... From what exactly?

Is anyone else not feeling this first Layla/Xcor scene together? It's not reading well for me at all. First off, I can't wrap my head around how this, kissing thing or anything else he does with his mouth, is working normally with that cleft lip going on. They talk about how how it LOOKS but a cleft lip causes more challenges to a person than just how it looks.

Conditioner? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? Yes, I know it's a nothing detail about a character but it's so odd. First off, I was laughing at the idea Xcor even uses shampoo and not just bar soap to wash his hair. Then he uses it like a pro, letting it sit on his scalp. WTF? Did he read those instructions himself or did one of his BoB tell him? You think Xcor gives two shits about his hair being soft and manageable? Xcor?!

V has always been a real peculiar character for me. Some of his reasons to hate are sometimes unreasonable. Then when you think he's going to do a very V thing, he doesn't. Then he has nerve to be pissed about his own actions as if he had no choice. Killing Xcor would have solved a lot of problems.

I don't get it... V is NOT going to kill Xcor? Maybe this is harsh of me to ask this but, why the fuck NOT?

I really, really REALLY shouldn't have enjoyed that moment the world was turned upside down, but I did. When Q said, "What?" I actually paused and felt giddy with anticipation instead dread.

This book better be good! I'm just saying. I'm approaching this book with major trepidation. I'm not feeling Layla, Xcor or their entire situation, that's been going on since Lover At Last...

Forcing myself to finish this book.... I'm annoyed with the female heroine to the point that I just want her to shut her dainty little face for the rest of the book.

Sooo, what was that ending? Was that a tiny bit if doubt & guilt? Not feeling that!
