Chapter 5. Now I see where we are at since the last book :)

Interesting… it’s like the 1st year was Marine training, and now the 2nd year training became the one of CIA…. (at least that’s I feel from what I had watched on TV with various shows)

I didn’t really know what the theme of this book, but it’s a little too close to home, the obstacle this couple is going through…

That was a surprise development. If it was a few years ago, I would had thought it was too much. In 2023 (or 2022), it’s more relevant to the current world events, it makes the story interesting.

Disk 8 of 10. It finally go into an interesting development although it was somehow predictable.

“I thought that the decent thing for me to do was leave the house immediately. Not permanently, you understand. I thought there was more chance of Alice getting up off the floor if I wasn’t looming over her.”<<< Interesting. He’s not saying it was because uncomfortable to stay but try helping Alice.

“I am aware that I am not that easiest of people. Alice has told me so. I have no friends, for example. I used to, many years ago, but that really didn’t work out. Friends are just people who remind you of your failings. I have several acquaintances.” <<< somewhat I can relate……
