I hate giving up on a book but this just wasn’t for me. I made it to about page 50 before deciding to quit. The poverty, corruption, and utter sadness left me feeling more depressed than engaged. I’ve read tons of difficult and tragic books, but this one never gave me a reason to keep going. My apologies to my book club friends. I really wanted to finish it, but sometimes a book just isn’t the right fit.

I’m going to quit this book. It’s just awful.

I liked this book. Some real sad stuff. Ghosting which I found relatable, aging parents, dementia, friendship issues.. No happy ever ending just Nina comfortable in her life and seeing where it takes her.

I don’t ever do reviews mid book, but the secret language between these triplet sisters is just so incredibly heart-warming. I literally sighed out loud it’s so sweet. ☺️

I just can’t finish this. It’s so incredibly boring with the dullest characters.

I never ever ever read chick books.. and I left this on my desk at work and I’m devastated! I could have finished it on the train. 😭 im enjoying it.

I returned this book to the library because it sucked so bad. I used to push myself through books even if I didn't like them. Now I say to hell with that. Life is too short to ready shitty books. LOL.

Creepy book! I enjoyed the factual stuff about Typhoid Mary that I never knew, then paired with this crazy horror fiction side it did make for an interesting and fun read. I just hope I don't have nightmares!
