Yes its early but I'm confused and disappointed. Other reviewers have noted that the beginning seems to comprise of his random thoughts and notes that need for further evaluation and consideration. There are some readably understandable thoughts or feelings that can be noted, but there are too many references to people and projects I don't know that make no sense to me. So far, I'm missing his purported insight.

Over half done with this book and I don't think I can continue. Day off today and I didn't read at all. I just couldn't pick this up. Isabel just met the subject of this book a few pages ago. This is ridiculous!!! I know she is a philosopher; but does she have to philosophy for more than half the book before we get to the supposed premise of the novel?

When did Charley get this stupid and self-centered? Did I just miss it all this time?

Haven't read this series in a while and I thought I catch up. What a disappointment so far. Did the series change or is it me. This is so hard to get through.

Giving this 4 stars before even finishing it. I wanted to stay up last night and finish the book. I was so engrossed I hated to stop, but I had to, since I needed to get up early for work.
