Amazing book so far. I don't know how to describe this book but I love the language. The way it's written is pretty cool. Part fantasy part real life maybe.

I've turned the speed up on audible so I can get through it faster

This book has very stereotyped characters. The women are very feminine and helpless. The women that are 'bad' are very catty and self absorbed. And the men treat the women like children who are too stupid to know what they are talking about....... And this book is written by a woman..... It's kind of like Enid Blighten's style of writing.

This is a great book

DNF I got bored with this book. I tried to listen to at first but most authors should not read their books ... they should leave to the professionals. They do a much better job!

I had a quick flick over some of the reviews and I think I agree that this book is overdone a bit so far and I'm only at the 3rd chapter. There is way too much detail about things that don't really contribute to the story particular from the painting.

I'm finding this book a bit of a chore to read. Admittedly I'm not a fan of memoirs. I definitely don't like authors reading their own books. They should leave it to voice actors. Only around 110 pages to go. Maybe it will get better.

Great book so far.

This is a very interesting book. I like the way it talks about the different aspects of authoritarianism and how it can slowly take hold.

Not sure if I like this book yet. To me at the moment it's a social media company taking over the world selling itself as the answer to all the bad things happening.

This book is written without speech punctuation which for me is giving the book a sound and making it harder to read. The dialogue has no definition. So far I'm not really liking it. Pearl comes across to me as if she feels she is owed something. She's not a happy character. I'm finding her irritating.

The wife of the stupid man who said he loved someone else stays with him and the Mother of the Murdered girl forgives the man who murdered her daughter and doesn't call the police. I skipped to the end.

I'm currently reading this book and it's making me angry. I want to finish it but it's such a stupid story! Do people really do act like that? Not that this is real life or anything but I at least like the characters to be a bit realistic. They are all do such stupid things. The wife of the murder is more concerned for her children rather than reporting the fact that he killed someone.

I'm liking the writing style of this book. The story for me is good and I can relate to what the main character is going through for that time.

This is an interesting book. A romance with a feminist point of view set in the 1960's. It's a bit of an eye opener actually.
