Best Christmas gift! And the book I knew would get me out of my neverending reading slump. Read a third of it in one sitting and can't wait to continue!

It's not bad, I'm jut in the wrong mood for this right now.

So far so... not that great? No, that sounds way too harsh. It's fine and I see what they're trying to do but it also feels a bit caricature-ish? I guess it might change, but for now I just don't buy it the same way I did with Evelyn Hugo for example.

This has been especially recommended as an audio book, so when it became available at the library I snagged it before anyone else could!

I really need to sleep now, otherwise I would have finished this tonight.

I got a free trial of an audiobook service, so I thought I'd give this a listen despite barely knowing who Jennette McCurdy is, as I've heard good things about it, especially as an e-book.

So this ended up being my holiday reading for 2023. This has been on my TBR for so long I'm almost a little scared reading this, thinking I'll end up dissapointed. But so far mostly so good?

I started reading this right after midsummer and flew through the first part of it, finding myself quite invested in the story and the characters. It has since swapped POVs though, and I find the new POV much less interesting, so I'm trying to decide if I should stick with this or maybe find some other reading for the summer and continue this when I start commuting to work again.
