Not enjoying this one. I am giving up.

Very slow start, almost gave up (again) since it took quite a while to get connected to the characters and the heart of the story. The second half of the book is MUCH better than the first. Glad I took the advice to stick with it and keep reading.

Enjoying it so far! Great writing and retelling of a well known Greek myth through a queer lens.

Very fast paced and engaging. A terrifying look into what happens when a charismatic idiot gets elected with the support of wealthy egotists who then burns bridges with allies and lets dictators and fascists gain traction in global affairs.
