<spoiler> I just don't get that Katy felt so bad about killing Blake (whom betrayed her sereval times and is provoking her and made her blind with anger, causing her to kill him) but she seems to have no problem whatsoever with killing a lot of soldiers and releasing an small army of super-intelligent children who kill for fun...</spoiler>

I have never really gotten the whole whose-fault-is-it-thing in many books. Ok maybe you didnt't tell everything, and IF you had acted differently things wouldn't have been that bad, but you didnt't know it would end like that. You didnt't kill the dead person, you didnt't make anyone do it, you didn't decide the outcome of the situation.
