I have never really gotten the whole whose-fault-is-it-thing in many books. Ok maybe you didnt't tell everything, and IF you had acted differently things wouldn't have been that bad, but you didnt't know it would end like that. You didnt't kill the dead person, you didnt't make anyone do it, you didn't decide the outcome of the situation.
