Jfc this book is boring. And also the author has some serious gaps in their bdsm knowledge which is making the book uncomfy now. ALSO .. a wet tshirt contest to raise money for a foster care campaign? Or is it marketing? Not sure the author knows.

Hey so doing a highly sexualized marketing campaign for a foster care charity is weird AF and would never get approved but okay. Now I’m so annoyed I’m struggling to get back into the story … and yes I’m angry about realism in a book about witches and grims.

If this wasn’t an ARC I think I would have given up.

Distracted by the main story (which I’m enjoying) by all this nonsense with Tia. Let’s blame the 17 yo female who is just flirting and not the adult men who act like she’s property and get violent as a result. Considering an immediate DNF.
