Up to chapter 8 and this book is hard work. The main character needs a slap and therapy, not necessarily in that order.

2 chapters in and my God, the main character is exhausting.

Wow. This was intense. Living in Melbourne and spending a lot of time on the Bellarine Peninsula, I felt really invested in this book. I read it in the space of about 5 hours. It was a really enjoyable read.
