was just starting to vibe with this book and I ran out of Spotify audiobook listening minutes….. sick and twisted

oh this is the fweaked out bdsm fairy tale retelling of my dreams I already know it. loooove that Tower is a vampire ugh I miss vampire books sm. and his love interest being a gargoyle? who can turn his **** to stone?! SAT!

ok girlies don’t judge me for this read!!!! I saw one of the dark romance girlies talking about this taboo book and after reading little bird lost I was intrigued to see how an author would handle um. what Nyla K. handles in this one. I’m halfway through and would I recommend it to y’all?? no! (not unless you’re freaked out) (it’s interesting but I see why it got banned no shade) (I’m gonna finish it)

this book is so unserious but I’m having a good time lol. I love the romance genre so much and spicy/taboo romance has been getting me going lately. BUT while the miscommunication trope drives me up a wall.. what has been irking me lately is when the main characters are making a big deal/denying their wants/being silly over things they could easily fix or do… grow up! you’re making me mad! just fawk your bestie

listening to this audio, my one Christmas themed book of the year. it’s quick, she’s easy (respectfully), and it’s just starting to heat up. (it’s been heat since the first chapter BUT the men’s are finally getting into it! SAT!

actually obsessed with this book. haven't wanted to stop listening to it because of it. the spice is SPICIN. I loveeee me some Zander but KERIAN? a mannnnn. like the way he is so complicateddd but still is unapologetically obsessed with Zander is everything. think this book has successfully gotten me out of my reading slump. NEED ME A KERIAN!!! no shade

oh I haven’t dabbled in a mafia romance in a while but this one is teaaaa. I didn’t know what to expect because it was book 2 of a series I hadn’t picked up AND I got an ALC for it. but I’m glad I did 🤭 Gianna and Sebastian are hottttt together and learning the complete reason she ran from him has me SAT. I am zooming through this one

oh n.e. davenport gets DOWN!!! we got right to the mess and the shenanigans. the wedding had me gagged tbh and I like how we didn’t have to deal with 6 chapters of traveling by horseback to get where we needed to go. I like an author that can get right to the point without making it feel like we missed anything or something is lacking. TEA so far! love the fmc she doesn’t take any shiettt from nobody not even ma!

oh I’m loving this so far I didn’t expect it to be so freaked out so soon but I am not complaining. the world building is really good in this as well, it’s complex but I haven’t felt lost in the sauce yet which is good for a romantasy. SAT!

wowza I did not expect to jump right into that level of trauma but I should have after reading hellcat. so many books I’ve happened upon this year have touched on abuse by a parent or caretaker and oooof it’s hard to witness. anyways, I’m intrigued by Cal so much but Ryan’s fear k*** and his ability to see dead people’s spirits is so fascinating. loving my late first book of spooky szn so far for sure

I still have so many thoughts but I really love how even though this book is HUGE, I’m not getting tired of the story or the characters. soooo much growth and healing and contentedness is going on in this one and it’s so necessary for the couple!! not to mention the mess with one of the side characters and the other mess with the other two side characters. IYKYK! I have a feeling that a big bad is.. *alive* btw

I flew through the other books but because this book is the bulkiest one so far, I'm taking my time with it. I keep saying it but this is the best romantasy series I've read.. probably ever? it feels so important. the topics it touches on, the hurt, the loss, the grief, the trauma, the RANGE of emotions that Kennedy is making me feel reading this novel... I don't really have the words. it hurts but it is so important

took a little break from this book but coming back to these characters felt like coming home fr. been waiting for things to start heating up and auren to process everything that happened in gleam and OOOF! she’s so me coded fr. I will run from things I don’t want to confront even though I’m naturally a confrontational/let’s talk about it person. but confronting yourself? OOOF!

really digging this so far. but I couldn’t help but wonder… will every war academy give fourth wing vibes from here on out? from the studious fmc with her pals to the broody mysterious mmc to the shady academy with secrets they’re not telling the student body…? this is giving me so much Harry Potter/Fourth Wing + fae vibes BUT the world building, complex fmc, and her loreee are keeping me SAT!

got this book as an ARC and missed the email so I’m playing catch up :-) BUT, I’m really enjoying it so far. it is giving fourth wing because it’s an academy setting with a war brewing in the background.. BUT I like that it’s fae vs. the dragons. the plot seems rather predictable so far with who the fmc is (currently powerless human but I like she’s a fighter and not weak)… we shall see though!

girllll, I am loving this side of Auren so much. and I'm happy to see my second favorite saddle make another appearance. she be getting smart but I love her character down. I just hope she doesn't end up being a little snakey rat.

girl this book is big as hell. I didn't know what to expect from Mason and (REDACTED, I don't want to spoil it for anyone new to the lost boys universe) BUT Jessie Walker is taking us BACK in time. with that being said, I'm having a hard time getting into this one. age 6?? OOOOF! but that prologue really just sent me to the moon after reading little bird lost... she's really about to break my heart several times over

eden finley and saxon James just... GET ME. the puckboys series is just so fun I am so invested in the members of the collective and them each finding love. I love a forbidden/brother's best friend romance... gets me going every time.

oh this is so chaotic BUT I’m having fun!! idk what the heck a nodule is but I’m certainly intrigued. the “booty juice” element sent me to the moon and the fact it keeps being brought up… LMFAO. I did not expect this book to be so unserious and serious at the same time. so many real life elements and not 🤭 excited to continue this immersive read tomorrow
