Is this book of high literary merit? Absolutely not. Do I love it regardless? Oh yes.

NGL this kind of reads like a textbook, which isn't bad, but it's unexpected. Also, it's a little stomach-churning to realize how many of the exploitative elements of the American economy (independent contractors, especially) originate in the mlm model.

Definitely less of a struggle to read, probably because the annoying character is literally locked in a box and out of the action

Incredibly funny that both South Park and a Mormon author made the same joke about "the one true religion" except South Park said it was Mormonism and the Mormon said it was Zoroastrianism

I'm literally on page two and already thinking about DNFing, I hate these characters (not Manon tho) and starting with an Aedion chapter is BOOORINNGGG

Technically Aelin isn't in this one, which is why it's bearable I guess

Infuriating, but fascinating so far

I keep thinking, why doesn't this book suck as much as the other books in the series? And the answer is because Aelin is not in it.

Not to be a hater but I hate this book. Doinking ON A BEACH AND THEN IN THE OCEAN??? I just can't. Wish.com Daenerys Targaryen.

Not even 15% in and I've already full-body-cringed three times: at the author's past naivete (which she acknowledges with a blistering and distinctly Kiwi frankness), at Zuckerberg's behavior, and at the German delegation's withering assessment of Facebook's performatively industrial office space. This is gonna be a tough read.

I'm OBSESSED with this book

I wish an editor had sat this author down and told them to "show, don't tell" because my god there is so much telling and barely any showing.

The writing is doo doo garbage awful and I genuinely don't think she had an editor read this but the plot is quite interesting
