So far this book has been great. Often when I read things about rising kids I find it too specific or too general, things that don't line up with the brain development stuff I know or don't take into consideration the role parents have. This book seems to balance all of this, it's specific and general, it's focused on understanding kids and supporting parents in that versus telling you what to do. It's more like why.

Definitely a helpful resource when navigating toddlerhood and it's written in such a way that you can read it between calls for "mammmmmmmma" haha

I read the chapter I needed in my series haha. I'll finish the rest another time.

I only read the novella related to my series but I'll come back for more.

Ahhh it's so good. The audio book is great. I love the narration. They bring the characters and their emotions to life. So far, pretty PG lol

I am learning a ton, and really might be able to finish this text of a book haha

This book is really helping me integrate what I know about MI with how I do some of the work I do with teens and their family.

Library took it back. Will be a bit before I can finish it lol

It's great so far! If you're semi familiar with Motivational Interviewing, it's bridging the gaps for working with where teens are at.
