Still grinding

This book is so bizarre and a total grind to get through. I’m forcing myself to read 20 pages at a time and it’s rough.

30% and struggling. The audio is not good. This book is marketed as a romance for adults, but it definitely reads as a middle grade/YA book. Finishing bc my 11 year old loved it and I want to be able to chat with her and review.

DNF at 30% This book is cute, but it’s just not for me at the moment. Would recommend it though for an easy summer read!

I think the audio is making me dislike this, so I’m pausing at 20% and waiting for the hard copy

30% Putting this on hold until I can get a hard copy. I can’t tell if it’s the narrators or the author making me hate the main characters.

My daughter loved this book and swears the end is worth it, so I’m slowly trudging along even though I’m not really enjoying it that much….

I’ve decided I can only read 25 pages at a time bc this books is pretty dense and packed full of ideas that require chewing. So, it’s going sllooowww. Not your average memoir (in my experience)

I snagged an early copy of this at my library when it first arrived and am enjoying the tone and pace 20% in, but decided that I’d rather listen to the British narrator as I think it adds to the charm and this feels like a good book for fall! Returning the hard copy and waiting for audio!

Switching from audio to hard copy bc I’m not digging the narrator, but don’t hate the story.

I’m pausing on this one and hoping that the hard copy is available soon bc I’m really not enjoying the audio narrator 😬
