Great as always! I love that Erin Flynn’s books always go into the details of how building something great would actually go, not just “we worked hard then this thing happened.” It makes it feel like you are living with the characters in a very satisfying way. I a girl that hates that books end with “and after we won the war, we built the life we wanted.” I want to see the life and the building!!!

Objectively very well written, but sad in a way that was not for me and I did not find enjoyable.

Almost nothing happened. Super disappointing.

The constant jumping of perspectives is jarring and make it hard to sink into, though is likely a active choice given the jumping of bodies the characters do. However it is an original world and story, which I appreciate.

Well, it was a unique story, well written, if a bit slow, with and entirely unsatisfying ending.

Another amazing book by Sangu Mandanna. A beautifully written story for those of us constantly give but often feel like they don’t belong and are not seen.
