I struggle to understand all the information in this book as even when I stop to look up a research source cited, I feel a lot of information is going over my head. However, it's totally fascinating what some of the studies have shown.

I've re-read the first chapter about 3 times now. It's really fascinating to read exactly how pain happens in the body and what can disrupt it, but I do admit some of the parts are still a bit over my head to understand.

This "short story" was only TWO PAGES LONG. That's not a short story, that's an OUTLINE of a short story. Really disappointing.

This lovely story was just the kind I appreciate - Izzy crushes on the hunky alpha millionaire who she learns is a jerk; and she finally learned to appreciate the nerdy thoughtful guy who was there for her all along. I wished it was longer, but it was a perfect HEA for both of them.

Just NO. Between Cara's insta-lust, Cara's constant giggling, Cara's childhood crush, Ro's "I'm not gay! I'm straight and I secretly I want you" and Ro's "I've wanted you since childhood too but never told you" - it was painful to read. This short was like a handful of romantic tropes were put into a blender then given to a ten year old to write.

Keeping a promise on Christmas Eve leads two lonely people to discover a new love. This beautiful short reminds me a bit of Danielle Steele's The Promise".

A likable heroine gets her wish come true, with a fairy tale romance and a beautiful HEA for her and her daughter. Great uplifting read.
