I’m only a few chapters in and so far this is everything I want from a mystery although I’m very anxious

I stayed up all night listening, I’m LOVING it so far!!

A little over halfway through and feeling very anxious. As a conflict avoidant person and Peacebuilding student, I have a hard time accepting the premise of the book that people can’t change. The “entering the tiger’s cage” exercise makes sense but I couldn’t imagine actually doing it because it would cause so much conflict.

I just finished chapter two and I’ve already cried three times. It’s so good.

I’ve decided that I’m not going to rate poetry because I always resonate with some of the poems and dislike others so it’s hard to rate.

Very John Green coded, which I unabashedly love. Planning on reading rom-coms for the next two weeks until Valentine’s Day because I love a theme

Slower paced than I thought it would be. I wish I was reading a physical copy

60% of the way through and it’s just starting to get interesting

3.75 stars rounded up to 4 for goodreads. The first 2/3 of this dystopian novel was brilliant and enraging and the remaining third was inconsistent and disappointing. So many things didn’t make sense at the end, especially the scene with the monkey and the sudden lack of cameras. I would still recommend, especially given the latest election but I won’t be re-reading.

A slow and sad literary drama. There is a mystery but it’s so drawn out that there is no suspense. It was well written but a little too drawn out. I would recommend but I wouldn’t read it again.

I highly doubt a normal human could withstand the physical abuse that the protagonist constantly encounters throughout the book

Very violent and suspenseful. I’m not attached to the main protagonist but I want to know what happens and why.

So far it’s a little less interesting than Dark Matter, more scientifically detailed, and really well written. Both books deal with the quantum theory of the multiverse and branching timelines. This is my favorite kind of sci-fi.

Started off slow and strange but now I’m fully invested and can’t put it down!

I need a breather after reading the Parables and Emily Henry is always a good time

A much more difficult read than the first one. Lots of rape and terrible things done in the name of a white Christian savior. Obviously things are taken to the extreme but lots of it mirrors what is happening right now, or what conservatives want to happen (project 2025). It’s scary stuff!

I’ve just started and already I’m hooked.
