I can’t believe she referenced Noah Kahan.

I’m loving the story so far, but I can’t stand the author’s fixation with counting down days until she dies (not a spoiler, this is the premise of the book) because that’s not how a diagnosis works! “Maybe a few days to a week to live” doesn’t mean exactly 7 days and the main character counting 7 days, 5 days, 2 1/2 days, 36 hours is making me crazy.

Plant witch doctor? Man-eating plant sidekick? Count me in.

If I have to read “his brown eye and green eye” one more time when it’s not relevant to the plot I’m going to lose it. He has heterochromia, WE GET IT.
