I could not wait any longer

Finaaly on the way to the LIghthouse

Slow start. Off the shelf paperback and NYC library libby. Not sure where it is going. Story of young woman taking care of medically compromised mother in Southern Spain. Little plot so far. Much character study.

Been taking my time. This is not a fast read. The brain has to be awake to appreciate. The words are just the beginning of all that is within.

Finally have both the audio and the print. Hope to listen to in a few days on a road trip.

Started listening to this a night when I can't sleep. The language and scenes are amazing. I can see why this is considered a contemporay classic. Been sitting on my shelf for several years. Will get to it soon. Hope it holds up

Booktube prize read. Just starting this on audio with the print in hand

A much more difficult read than I expected. Not one that can be swallowed whole. It looked short but requires brain power to stay engaged. Lots of great thoughts and writing here but so much internal dialogue and it the mind drifts for even a minute I loose tract of whose thoughts they are.

I've put this on hold. I wanted to finish my reading of Anne Bronte and I loved Wildfell Hall but this is too much bratty kids for my reading right now. I'm not DNF but will finish listen when I am in the mood
