maybe i’m just grumpy and in a bad headspace for reading. either way - i’m not having as much fun as the first read through. and i’m wondering why i ever liked this series in the first place. i guess i grew up or whatever

always silly, always fun

honestly i thought this was going to suck, and im only reading it bc im loyal to the author. and some of it does suck, exactly the way i thought it would. yet i am riveted

i guess i’m in it to win it now? its a bit fun but im still… meh

rough start, i was daunted by the quantity of front matter/prelims. takes a while to settle in, but now? i’m fucking sat

there is a character that addresses the reader and they use :) and :( often. now i understand why this audio book is 13 hours longer than the original novel - it ain’t extra content. it’s because the narrator literally says “smiley face” or “frowny face” to convey each emote to the listener. it’s a fucking brutal listen, do not recommend.

it’s probably intentional but it super annoys me that the bunnies have this huge power, and all they do with it is attempt to make a dream boy. guess they’re all hetero

meh. would dnf this if it wasn’t so short. it’ll take so little time to wrap it, might as well slog

annual pop book… i keep laughing out loud and we have cranked audio up to 1.5x. gonna be a rough time if i actually can finish the whole thing.
