This was a really good story. I will definitely purchase the next book in the series. Likeable characters and lots of twists and turns kept me engaged.

I’m really shocked so far at all the poor ratings for this book. I’m a huge Lisa Jackson fan and I’m loving this book. Unless something drastically happens to change my opinion in the second half of this book, I am going to rate it a solid 4 stars.

I wasn't certain whether this book would be a hit with me or not. As a north western Canadian, I know nothing about surfing, so I thought this would be a huge barrier. Not at all. I can't put this book down. It's hard to believe that this is a debut novel. The writer has immense talent. I have done nothing much else since I picked up this book than read it.

This book is actually really hard for me to read. This book is more realistic than some people might believe. I had been in a relationship a few years ago that started off very much like this one did and at the point I'm at in this book, the story is sounding frighteningly similar. So far I'm hooked.

I've had to put this book aside for now and come back to it later. I have read other books by this author and really enjoyed them, but I'm having difficulty getting into this book.

Despite this book being on what most would consider a heavy subject, it has a lot of humour to it. If you are thinking of donating your body to medical science, I believe that this is a must read.

I'm halfway through this book and can't decide whether I should continue reading it or just stop. I keep feeling as though it has the potential for a really good book, but unfortunately it's just not there yet.

Great book so far. It consistently keeps my attention and in some ways it's more believable than some other thrillers.

This book has had me hooked right from the beginning. It's fast paced and even humorous at some parts. Very hard to put down. I've already looked online for more books in this series for the future.

I'm just over halfway through this book and I literally cannot put it down. Just when I think I'm getting a handle on things, the story takes a turn and draws me in further. It will be interesting to see if the story remains this captivating straight through to the end.

It took a while to get into this book. Several times I was tempted to give up and read another book. The plot was slow and I couldn't quite get into to characters. Then at about a third of the way in everything clicked and now I don't want to put the book down at all. Things are coming together and starting to make sense.

At the halfway point in this book I'm hooked. I read a lot of true crime books and this one so far is one of the better. It's told by Gacy's lawyer and he speaks frankly and often humorously about his client. This is not to say that there is anything humorous about this case or this man. It's just that some of Gacy's actions are so bizarre that they are funny in a head shaking kind of manner.

I love Mitch Albom's unique style of writing and this book is not failing to deliver that. The story is told with "music" being the narrator. I wasn't certain how I would like it at first since I am not a musician and don't really understand many of the musical terms being used. I love it.

So far I'm really enjoying the book. I saw a few poor ratings for the book and was hesitant to read this book, but so far it's very interesting and exciting.

I can't put this book down. It started off and gripped my interest right away and as I read further it just draws me in more.
