I think one of the reasons this book is so hard to swallow is because it’s so descriptively heavy.

Jen is 30% done with The Sentence

I’m 30% through and I honestly still don't know how to feel. It feels like so much is going on, yet the story itself feels kind of aimless? The premise totally hooked me, but the book is turning out to be way different than what I thought I was signing up for. I’m going to hang in there until the 50% mark, but if it hasn’t clicked by then, it’s probably going on the DNF pile. 🥲
