Rough language.

So many fist pumps. All the time. And he is NOT a grumpy narrator. Unrealistic narration.

Can’t say anything about the quality of the book or writing. I didn’t even get through the first chapter, my stomach was churning so much thinking about being in this kind of arrangement and the normalcy it was written in. Not for me.

Why was she fluttering at the simplest “thank you” when he was such a jerk to her all the time, even before the accident? I appreciate her making up her mind to love him, no matter his behavior (he wasn’t abusive, just outwardly neglectful). There just wasn’t enough for a relationship to be built upon, imo

How much more would I have liked it with a different reader??

I really, really, really want to like this. It has all the pieces that seem to make for a good book, but I just can’t concentrate on it. I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt, because the things I’ve been able to focus on have been fun. Soooo... I’m not giving this a bad rating. I’m saying I don’t have the brain capacity for it, and need to give it another try when my life has calmed down more.

Her books move sooo fast. Wish they were longer and had more depth.

Took a couple tries to get into it, but was happy i persevered.

Loooved the strong female lead. I loved the communication error that wasn't typical but still caused problems.

3.5. A little frustrated that they let anything happen while they were engaged, and the concept that love is what happens, not love is something you work for. But there was something sweet and real about it.
