The MFC is really tiring me, if it wasn’t for the non romantic plot I would DNF.

Why is this book so repetitive? 😭 it should have been done by now

This can NOT be read as a standalone because every page you are assaulted with side characters which I assume were the mains in the other books and they take so more space and time than the MCs barely exist on a page. It’s like a book about all those other people with the MCs accidentally taking part in those interactions.

Wtf I wanna DNF this book 4 chapters in. The names of everybody are so ridiculous it’s like a combination of goats’ names and bubba tea flavors, which I guess is fitting for people who act as ridiculous as these ones. And why are we getting 5 freaking chapters of high school drams. I came here to read about adults not highschoolers

I was curious on how a reverse stalking situation would pan out and boy this one’s fun. Yet the chaos of the MFC, self diagnosed with raccoon vibes, is a-bit much for me, never though I’d live the day to say that.

Just got through the first few chapters and the vibes are vibing. This is on a fast track to becoming an all times fav, hope it doesn’t screw up but if the rave about it were on point it will deliver.

I feel like I’m entitled to some form of compensation from books with pretty covers and good synopsis that turn out to be so bleah they put me into a reading slump.

I started this book just after Heated Rivalry and to say it was so far out of it’s league is an understatement.
There are so many things I did not like in it that is was almost certain a DNF. Tbh, it might still be. I dropped it for more than a week, but I’ve decided to get it at least to 50% before quitting and it surprisingly picked up a bit. Still think the main character is a walking red flag

I was really excited about this book, like the premise? The tropes? Single dad, age gap? Yes, please!
The execution?
Look, I get it, I am a different kind of nerd and I will never fully grasp the whole comics collector vibe. And for someone who is? This MMC is probably making them all giddily inside. But for me? Meh.
And then the MMC is like 26, almost 27, but acts 20. She managed to be a victim in every situation

Another grate book that at one point becomes annoying af. Whhhhhhyyyyy does she have to be stupid naive gullible and so easy to manipulate. We were supposed to see the heroin’s growth, maturity, oh so sang about intelligence, yet she falls for each and every lie she is told like she’s no better than at the start. Honestly if the Robert plot line would not have existed this would have been perfect. Let him be gone

3/4 in on this book and it’s fucked 5 ways to Sunday but not in the way I expected it to be. Jack and Noah defending Kaleb’s abusive behavior and how they said they’d just back off and let him have her? I’m hanging by a thread to not DNF this. Ugh, it’s 2025, when can we stop romanticizing plain abuse and “but I can fix him” mentality.

OMG! Colleen definitely has her way around words. I love how see express things, and though see makes things light, they seem so deep and you seem to get so much of the characters and all from every sentence. I love her writing and her humos!

So i'm only at the 1st of september and i'm totally in love with this book! I mean seriously! I keep laughing at EVERy page! LOve it! I laugh so hard that i think i'm going crazy =)) It's just so damn funny!

And Sky and Six (wtf names are those?), I mean, who has that kind of relationship? It's just no real, and that's why i love it.

I should seriously start doing homework now but this book is too gripping!
