The author's writing style is very similar to the Lore podcast. I can totally see each of these chapters being a podcast episode.

I like true crime, but this one is really really hard to read. Crimes against children are just infuriating.

Ugh...sure I killed a bunch of 16-year-olds, but I didn't kill THAT 16-year-old girl, so why am I being executed? I can be a "good guy." 🙄

I have been "one more chaptering" this book for about 3 hours now.

I'm confused. I thought this was a Winchester style story with a fairy romance....but the fairies are small enough to fly around in hummingbirds? Nit sure I'm into a Tinkerbell-human romance. I want adult size fairies in my romances. Lol

Hopefully there's a recap, because I really don't remember what happened in the last one.

The Winchesters would take care if these girls in no time.

I'm now listening at 3x speed. Is that cheating?

I have listened to 17% and I cannot tell you what is even going on. It's for a reading challenge, so I will keep going, but I so don't care about any of it, sadly.

I really have no idea what is happening in this book, I've increased it to 1.75 to finish it...
