How have I only read 1 book this year?! Am I even a reader anymore ?

It’s been so long since I’ve put my head into a book, and I can’t believe I let this one skim under my radar. It’s been one of my most anticipated reads since I read Kristen Callihan’s Sports Romance and then her VIP series, but wow I’m really into this one and I’ve been so eager to read about Jax’s story. So far I’m hooked.

2 more days until the new year. I have 2 more days to read AHHHH !!! What’s going to be the lucky last read of the year???

Okay so this book started out hilarious. I love the banter and the chemistry between the two so notice my surprise when an annoying plot twist comes into play. UGH. Will this unnecessary thing go away soon?? Because its fucking with my mood with the story and I really don't wanna invest my time into it if it's going to lose the vibe I had when I first opened this book. But it's Vi Keeland so I HAVE to finish it.

I've been reading this for 3 days now and I'm 30% away from the finish line and it has me thinking...I just want it to end. And then I realise I'm not being fair to this book and its author because I really like her writing style but the story is just not connecting with me. I guess I had high expectations which is a creation of my own ruin. But I will finish this book.

Ahhh I'm already loving this one. I can tell that Zee and Alexis' story is going to break me. I'm already swooning for Zee and I've only just started. Also, I take back what I said about Ash. For some reason he's pretty funny as a secondary character. I love him again LOL I know...never trust anything I say in lieu of a rant review. Ha.

I'm trying to savor this book as much as possible. And it's making my reading experience a lot more enjoyable I have to admit. Reading a few chapters a day is definitely a goal of mine. So far, I'm loving where this book is going. It's definitely not at ACOMAF's level for me, but that has yet to be decided. I do know that I'm slowly falling for Cassian and Azriel. Rhys is always gonna be my #1. Sigh.

I am so nervous to continue with this story and excited all the same. I'm trying to take my time but I. Read. Too. Fast. I need to slow down!! Also, I hadn't realised how fangirly I was over Rhys and and his inner circle until I realised I literally squealed at the mere mention of one them LOL because I'm such a five year old. But Rhys *fans self* I have a huge crush on. And Cassian and Azriel...*fans self again*

I'm starting to think that I'm in the minority with this sequel. It's not giving me anything to hold my attention. I mean Gavin is plenty hot and everything I like in a romance hero but damn I'm struggling through this book. I think part of it is due to the fact that the first book ended the way it did and this is book is just a ruse for more unnecessary filler to get a cheap HEA. Sigh.

For such a short book, it's taking me forever to read it. It's so slow! I think part of the reason is due to the narrator's juvenile voice that comes off as being more like a nine year old, not a newly sixteen year old. So I keep putting it down and getting distracted.

I'm trying to take my sweet time with this book to savor it a little longer, but It's impossible. This book is seriously blowing my mind right now. I love the different mediums introduced into this book Truly an experience, I agree.

Wait? How is that I'm only 11 pages in it and already like this book?! Talk about love at first sight. Gulp. I'm listening to the songs while reading and I'm just over here melting. Swoon. I have a good feeling about zeess book.

I'm starting to regret my decision with this one...I feel like this book is going to be just sex. Not that I'm opposed to it, just seems like there isn't much depth with the characters to make me feel like their union paid off. It feels forced? No, wrong word. Almost like their union hasn't given me that satisfaction I crave. It's still a little early to tell, so I shall persevere.

I've had this book on my bookshelf for like years, and I remember getting it for $2 which was a steal, but I don't why it has taken me this long to pick it up. This book is definitely my kinda book to read and I was immediately attracted to the title. I'm loving the intriguing characters and the lore in here. Definitely going good.

I'm only a little way in so it's hard for me to get a firm handle on things that are happening in this book. But I like it so far. The mystery is compelling, and I'm all in. :D

I have a feeling I might already love this book. :) I'm already liking the main girl and guy which is making my reading experience really enjoyable. I also just have a huge crush on how easy it is to get sucked in to her books. Colleen Hoover may be my go to author right now. I just love how easy flowing her writing style is. :D

WOW they kept pretty close to the books with this one. I'm only half way through it, but I'm definitely addicted. I'm trying to pace my reading for this because I am still waiting for the rest of the books to arrive. Loving it so far. :D

I am obsessed with the HBO series and I have just finished watching the last episode in season 6 called "the winds of winter" and that finale just blew my mind.

Now, I've decided to read the series and these are just as good. I can't wait to get into this whole series. I only have the first two books that I bought a while ago, but have just bought the box set so I will do a marathon. :D LOVE it so far.

There's a lot of grammar errors in here and missing words that make it a bit hard for me to read, but other than that the story concept is interesting.

I jump from one book to another, and of course I had this on my kindle and thought I better sink my teeth into it. Especially considering the fact that it had wolves in it. I find it so much easier reading kindle versions. Right now, I'm liking where this story is going. Mysterious and light just what I was looking for.

Okay so I admit, I have watched the movie before finishing the book but I'm glad I did because its better than the book. For one, you don't have to put up with the writing, and two, I think I like movie Ana and Christian better than the dull book characters. What I like the most is the twilight parallel, which I didn't expect to like, but it works. But the movie had made the book more interesting for me to finish it!

I thought I'd read the book before wat hing the movie...I'm half way in and wish I didn't. The writing is awkward and the characters are dull. I don't feel a connection with the heroine which makes the pacing seem so slow. Oh and was Ana the main character or was it her Inner Goddess? Wasn't too clear for me. Maybe it was her spectacle wearing subconscious? :/

I feel like I've experienced the magic of Le Cirque des Rêves: The Circus of Dreams and I'm only half way into it. Such a fantastic atmosphere to lose yourself into. I've recently been to a circus not much like this one, but a circus nonetheless and the vivid descriptions and the beautiful prose makes you feel like you've entered the Night Circus for yourself. Morgenstern keeps you captivated and spellbound. Love it.
