Don’t know about others, but of the 78 named characters in this book, Marcellus and Tova are my favorites. I think the word I need to use to describe this book is cute.

Parts were too dark for me. It seemed as if Baldacci needed to throw in as many punches as possible. And of course some unbelievable shooting situations. However, at the end of the day it was a good thriller.

Predictable.

If the rest of this book is anything as good as the first 22 pages, I'm in for a treat. I cannot wait to find time to keep reading this one.

Selection for January 8 Mystery Book Club. I've read several of her books and am familiar w/ two of the US characters, Dillon Savich and Sherlock, but Drummond is her newest character and referred to as a Brit in the FBI. Looking forward to finishing and discussing this one.

The first Rhys Bowen mystery I've read. So far, so good.

November Mystery Book Club selection. So far some factual errors (names of locations), but other than those a bit of a far-fetched yet good read.

I "won" this in a Goodreads giveaway. I think I signed up for this one because I was in the middle of reading Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson and wanted to continue on a non-fiction roll regarding a book about prison goings on. This one, however, will be very different. Time will tell as I continue to read it.

Reading this one for my Classic Book Club.

Another Mystery Book Club pick. This was first published in 1908, republished in 1935. Wonder how it stacks up against mysteries written 100 years later.
