Since I had s surprise C-section I was super unprepared and when I was discharged from the hospital they hardly told me anything and basically said we'll see you in 6 weeks! This book is really informative so far and apparently, I learned they cut through seven layers to get to Elijah. And therefore I now have seven layers of stitches. Yikes.

The beginning of this book is SO SLOW. I spent most of last night slogging through the first hundred pages and I still have no idea what's going on. Brilliantly written, but meanders.

This book is fantastic. I'm going to read the whole series when I'm finished with this semester.

I really enjoyed this book, more than I thought I would.

I actually really like this book. It's fascinating, I honestly didn't know it occurred in Victorian times. A little steampunk-y before it was a thing.

Sometimes Claire is an idiot, but I kind of love this book.
