Since I had s surprise C-section I was super unprepared and when I was discharged from the hospital they hardly told me anything and basically said we'll see you in 6 weeks! This book is really informative so far and apparently, I learned they cut through seven layers to get to Elijah. And therefore I now have seven layers of stitches. Yikes.
