I love the little lore dump chapters that make perfect since for mickey to know becuase hes a history buff and after being on the Drakaar for 10years has focused on the history of colonization of the universe abd what started it and that its all the same shit over and over. I also think its funny how when he first says he likes history they thinks hes stupid for doing that but during the book it foreshadows alot

they way they we're shown just how much Nasha and Mickey love each other is so cute. like they've been together for 10years and it shows. especially Nasha is consistent is always being there for him when he dies. and how his biggest fear in Nasha knowing he's a multiple was that she would lose the only life she had and that as much as she sacrificed for him he doesnt want that for her even if she would do it

Robert Patterson was the perfect guy to play mickey. because mickey is a sopping wet cat of a man who is constantly described as shaking and sweaty. also love Nasha for being the only person who cares when he dies and he loves her so much for that.

It's actually so cool to see the internal an external battle of Vordis and Thrand to become separate people, because not only are they physically cloned, they were also mentally cloned, like they literally had the same biological thought pattern like implanted in them. So to try and go from that to being your own separate people is really interesting to read
