listening to the audio book mostly

predicting (aka reading) that rose is gonna clock the hell outta shane and illya and shanes gonna freak about it cuz he thought they were being kinda discreet

shane having a "omg im not bi wtf" moement is so funny to me for several reasons

someone introduce shane to bdsm

me hating mostly becuz i wanna know what illya is thinking over shane rn

such a cool part that doesn't make me wanna end it all.

coming off of the first book i wasn't expecting such a clear difference in the characterization of people in a DL relationship. like this so far has been such a nice (and to what i know of accurate) to queer hookup culture.

What i would love though is more smut scenes from Illya's pov, i feel like they've been vary shane-centric

part 1 done, and i really like this book so far. if i was told about the start of it and literally anything about the characters dynamic I woulve read it sooner. because the way that Illya and shane interact in the first part when they're both young adults is so interesting and i can't wait to see how it compares to when they're older. there's so much a writer can do with that dynamic so i can't wait to see it done

why did no one tell me that they were teenage rivals to lovers.... I would've sarted this a year ago

it's actualyl pissing me off that kip is talking to some random guy rather than his best friend elena.......like i can't tell (cuz this is the first book im reading by her) if this is a reid problem with women or is reid trying to tell me something about kip by having this conversation with someone else..,...lots of things to consider
