This book keeps you guessing right fro the beginning. Things aren't always as they seem. An illustrated version would've been better, but it wasn't so bad in the age of smart phones and Google Images.

Now I have to read Dante's Divine Comedy...

This is a damn long book

I've read almost all of Chris Crutcher's books, but it's been about a year since my last one.

It's nice for me to take a break and to have an easy read I could finish in a day for a change, but I was like, "Whoa! I did not see that coming." I forgot how intense Chris Crutcher's books can be.

Great insight into the long basic training of Navy SEALs, and why "the only easy day is yesterday."

Damn, this book is looooong!

So far so good. It's tragic how wrong a child's life can get when lost in the system. It can be prevented with good case management.

I'm definitely gonna find more Marsha Qualey books
